I had to do an exchange and, i felt a bit embarrassed having to follow up on it. The exchange did go through in the end, but the replies were slower than I expected, so I was kind of left waiting and wondering what was going on

These are solid boots overall, but they definitely took some time to break in. My feet were sore the first few wears, so I’d just use common sense and not take them on a long day right out of the box. Once they started loosening up, they felt much better.

I was mostly nervous about the weight, since heavy hiking boots always make me regret my choices about an hour in. These were way lighter than I expected, and after walking around in them for a few hours, I wasn’t constantly thinking about my feet, which is kind of the whole point, I guess.

They still feel sturdy though, not cheap or floppy or anything like that. My feet didn’t get that tired feeling I used to get with my old pair, especially on longer walks. Shipping was totally fine too, nothing weird there. Overall, I’m happy with them.

I thought the site looked decent overall, and there were a few pieces I liked. That said, nothing really jumped out at me or felt super unique. The style is fine, just a little plain for what I usually go for...

I bought these boots from akuoutdoor.us for wet hikes, and they were decent at first. They handled light rain and a few puddles without any real issue, but after a longer muddy walk, my socks ended up a little damp. Not sure how to explain it, but I expected them to feel more reliably waterproof for the price. Shipping was normal, nothing to complain about there.

The craftsmanship is decent too, but on mine a few stitches and edges looked a little uneven :/ Nothing major or unusable, I just expected a cleaner finish for the price. It works, just didn’t totally wow me.

I’ve been using it all summer and regret not getting it earlier. It’s still holding up great with no rips or loose bits so far.

I really wanted these to work out, but the arch support felt way too flat for me. After just a few walks, my feet started getting sore, especially right under the middle of my foot, and I kept thinking, how is this okay for something meant to be walked in?

The ankle support also wasn’t as solid as I expected. They feel fine when you first put them on, but once I got onto uneven ground, my ankles were still shifting around more than I was comfortable with.

Maybe they’re fine for super light trails or casual use, but they just weren’t comfortable enough for me. I’m giving 2 stars because the materials and overall build seem decent, but the support was not there.

I’ve taken them through muddy paths, wet rocks, and loose gravel, and they just did not slip around like my old pair did. Going downhill, the grip feels super solid, like I can fully trust every step. They needed a little bit of breaking in, but it was nothing serious at all. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would 100% grab them again.

Support got back to me fast and they did answer my question, which I appreciated. Still, I was a little disappointed that I had to reach out in the first place, and the whole thing felt more like a quick fix than a great experience.

For the price, I was fully expecting this to be just okay, but wow, it actually turned out way better than I thought. Like, I’m weirdly excited about how solid it is. Definitely worth the money, and I have absolutely zero complaints.
